Cancellations must be received in writing by emailing us at philipadventuretz@gmail.com. We are a long-haul destination and most of our Safaris, Hiking, Trekking, Climbing, Culture and Beach holidays are Booked between four 4 to six 6 Months before departure. All suppliers charge cancellation fees, which they in turn pass on to us. Therefore reservations that are cancelled reduced in length of stay or in number of people, are subject to cancellation fees.
If you must cancel before your trip, your money will be returned, less the cancellation fees (below).
Following is the scale for cancellation charges:
- 20% (of the total cost of the trip) if made more than 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
- 50% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 31 and 60 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
- 75% (of the total cost of the trip) if cancelled between 15 and 30 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
- 100% (the total cost of the trip) if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date of which your tour was going to start.
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour for any reason, we will, where possible, offer you the choice of an alternative arrangement, or you will receive a full refund. We will inform you about any cancellations as early as possible and at the latest 10 days before the commencement of the tour and safari.No refunds are given for lost travel time or substitution of facilities, for itineraries amended after departure or for circumstances arising beyond the control of Philip adventure & Safaris company.
If you do not appear for any accommodation, service, sightseeing or trip segment; or if you leave your program after it has begun, miss scheduled sightseeing activities, meals, or accommodations, there will be no refunds .
